Hickory (our original location)

Chapel Our Beautifully decorated chapel is located within the main funeral home building. The chapel has a 150-person seating capacity and is equipped with a state-of-the-art music system with a variety of hymns and songs available.

W.E. "Jack" Bass Memorial Building Built in 1998, the W.E. (Jack) Bass, JR. Memorial Building contains additional receiving rooms. The building, which is adjacent to the funeral home, affords privacy for families as well as additional parking.

Receiving Rooms Bass-Smith has three large, comfortable receiving rooms located in the main building.

Showroom

Our showroom contains a wide selection of metal and hardwood caskets, vaults, and cremation urns.

On-Site Crematory

Bass-Smith Funeral Home is equipped with its own on-site crematory. This crematory serves families in Catawba, Burke, Alexander, and surrounding counties.
