Juanita Tolbert Bolick, 89, of Hickory, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at Carolina Caring.
Born October 4, 1929 in Danville, VA, she was the daughter of the late Clyde L. Tolbert, Sr. and S. Leeana Arnold Tolbert Terrell.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Ralph Edward (Jack) Bolick; brother, Clyde L. Tolbert, Jr.; and a sister, Coleen T. Biggerstaff.
She was a member of West Hickory Baptist Church and sang in the choir for many years, as music was a great source of enjoyment for her. She was retired from the banking industry after 32 years of service.
She is survived by her son, Edward Bolick and wife Shelley of Winston-Salem; grandson, Michael Bolick of Winston Salem; a special nephew, Kevin Biggerstaff of San Francisco, CA; nephew, William Biggerstaff and wife Candace of Los Angeles, CA; brother, Harold Tolbert; and nieces: Jeanie Austin and husband Dale of Hickory, NC, Wynona Bennett of FL, Darlene Amos of High Point, NC, Belinda Humpley and husband James of FL.
The funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2019 at West Hickory Baptist Church with the Rev. Scott Frady officiating. Burial will follow at Catawba Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00 - 2:30 p.m. at the church.
